Golf Tournament

Proceeds from the participation and generosity of players and sponsors help fund the MSBA’s FutureBuilders Foundation. FutureBuilders provides 18 annual Missouri School Boards’ Association Student Scholarships which are awarded to high school seniors from all areas of Missouri, helping our future leaders achieve their dream of a college education. FutureBuilders also supports and promotes the importance of community leadership, education advocacy and early childhood education.

We are thrilled to announce that at this year's Annual Conference, we are partnering with Scholastic to host the 2nd Annual My Favorite Book Drive.

When young children are immersed in joyful and engaging reading experiences, something wonderful happens. They learn to love books, enjoy reading, and see themselves as readers. We invite all attendees to bring new books for Missouri students.

Your generous donations will support students in need across the state, ensuring that every child has access to the materials they need to not only succeed but also develop the joy of reading, a crucial way to boost reading skills.

Donate a Pre-K or Elementary grade-level book and receive an entry to win 500 books! Each winner will receive at least one curated Scholastic collection of books, along with donated books.

Drop off your book at the Sheraton Mezzanine Terrace, located next to conference registration, anytime between Thursday, October 17 at 4:00 pm and Saturday, October 19 at 9:30 am.

Each district may submit up to 10 entries, but can only win once. Winners will be announced during the Second General Session on Saturday, and a district board member must be present to win.

What New Books to Donate:

• Children's Books (PreK - Grade 5)

• Fiction or Nonfiction

• Popular Series

Your generous donations will help stock the shelves of school libraries, providing students with access to high-quality reading materials.

Let's work together to put books into the hands of students across Missouri! Bring new books and change lives.*

Thank you for your continued support. Together, we can make a lasting impact. We look forward to seeing you!

*Recommended donation is 10 books. We appreciate your partnership
