MSBA’s school attorneys provide board members and superintendents information regarding current school law and court decisions. The legal department also provides administrative support for the Council of School Attorneys to assist school districts. MSBA’s Council of School Attorneys has over 100 members located around the state! To be a member of COSA an attorney must be licensed in Missouri and represent at least one Missouri public school district. By belonging to COSA these attorneys demonstrate their commitment to staying current on education law and providing quality advice to public school districts.
