MSBA’s CBM Essential Board Member Training fulfills this requirement and provides the foundation for becoming an effective board member. The training is free for all new board members but registration is required.

Without training [a new board member] might be walking into difficulties without even knowing it. I appreciate the thoughtful guidance you offer and look forward to more education to maximize my contribution to the board.
