Board Presidents’ Workshop:
Superintendent Evaluation Process
Kansas City Convention Center
Thursday, November 4, 2021
1:00 – 5:00 p.m.

The evaluation of the district superintendent should be an ongoing process focused on continued professional growth for the superintendent and improved student and district performance. The board president plays a key role in overseeing the evaluation process. During this interactive session, each step in the process will be addressed from determining what will be measured to completing the summative evaluation. A panel of presidents will share examples from their district.

Preference will be given to board presidents, but other board members may attend as space allows. Two CBM credits can be earned.

Registration: $50. Click here to register.

This workshop is being held in conjunction with the MSBA Annual Conference. See details here.

Recording of March 30, 2021
Virtual Board President Workshop

In this workshop recording, a panel of board presidents share how they support new board members through an onboarding process. Research indicates that meaningful orientation for new board members can reduce the time it takes to become an effective member of your team from one year to only three to six months.
