Thank you for taking the time and contacting your state senators about Senate Bill 612 (Koenig) – Missouri Empowerment Scholarship Accounts.

The bill was debated on the Senate floor once again this week, but no vote was taken. The bill was filibustered for five hours by six senators: Sen. Jill Schupp, Sen. J.J. Rizzo, Sen. Gina Walsh, Sen. Kiki Curls, Sen. Jake Hummel and Sen Scott Sifton. However, SB 612 is still alive and will likely be considered again in the coming weeks.

Your advocacy makes a difference!

Please thank the senators who filibustered and continue contacting your own senator to encourage them to oppose the bill.
